Autism Assessments for Highly Masked Autistic Folks

Lucy offers thorough, deep and intentional autism assessments for those seeking to better understand their experience of the world. These are in-person assessments for Melbourne-based individuals. They are designed for folks who are not seeking NDIS funding.

Before anything else, Lucy will have an initial consult with you via telehealth to make sure this service is right for you. There will be no pressure to book the assessment during the consult, you can come back to me whenever you’re ready. The fee for the one hour consult is $220. This can be booked online via the ‘Bookings’ page.

After the consult, we can book in an assessment if you’d like to. Please see below for details on how the assessment is conducted, and pricing.

Please feel free to email with any questions. There will be no pressure to book a consult if you make an enquiry, so please get in touch with any questions that might help you make a decision.

Feedback

After we have completed the interview, I will collate all the data and make a diagnostic decision. I will feed this back to you during the feedback session, and make time for you to ask any questions you might have.

During your feedback session, we will talk about how best to structure the report so that it is most helpful for you. Some folks like a lot of detail, others don’t like to read at all!

The fee for this part of the assessment is $350, payable on the day.

ASD Interview

The assessment starts with a clinical interview which is 3 hours long, in-person. During this time we will work through the criteria according to the DSM-V, and we will help you to understand how you do/do not meet each criteria.

The fee for this part of the assessment is $1100, payable on the day.

We will then schedule an interview with someone who is either a parent or trusted person, so that we can get some extra information about you. This interview is held over zoom, and you are encouraged to attend and hear what your trusted person has noticed about you.

The fee for this part of the assessment is $500, payable on the day.

Report

Your report will be written up for you in a way that is educational and makes it clear to the reader how your presentation is linked to autism, and what might be helpful in managing your neurodivergence.

This report will be sent to you within 4 weeks of the feedback session. There is no additional fee for the report - it is included in the assessment fees already paid.
